The alodur is a special coating process that is created in connection with an electrochemical reaction of the AL base material. This alodur layer is produced in two different processes. A comparably good surface hardness is achieved, as with hard anodizing. This achieves a long service life. In addition, there is very good corrosion-resistance in industrial environments. Due to the lower surface roughness compared to hard anodizing, there is less friction in connection with a longer seal durability.
